Hi everyone

I'm facing a problem regarding the upload of my flying area map to my Horizon GCS. Actually I'm not able to import my JPG or PNG map which I got from Google Earth to Horizon. I use Horizon 3.4, but it shows an error while selecting the map.The error is about map format support or coordination format. I tried all possibilities for coordination settings (DD.dddddd, DD:MM:mmmm, DD:mm:SS:ssss) but still mismatch for coordination. Do you have any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

See that attached pic for format. Also I believe there is a size limit.

I am using Lentsika (http://www.lentsika.ceped.it/) which does the importation automatically.

Dear Rory Paul

Thanks for the information. I should purchase this software right? Can I use a trial version of this program?

In my opinion is it well worth it. Takes all the hassle out of flight planning. The only issue is that the guy that currently own the software is not responsive I have been told by other people that they have not managed to get in contact with him.

The trial version will do everything except export a .fly file.

Dear Rory

For sure it well worth it. But, since my supervisor should agree to pay for it, it takes time and I'm not sure what would be after. Now just I'm looking for the easiest way to upload my jpg map into Horizon and put the coordination and run it. That's all.
