Hi everyone, we have problem with horizon license.
In the beginning, we have installed the horizon 3.4 and used the license. there is no problem here.
Then, we plan to use the horizon beta 3.7. Firstly, we picked the license from the installed horizon 3.4, and it said "license source is not authorized"
then we used another methode that transfers the license from horizon 3.4 to a USB, then transfers the license in the USB to horizon 3.7.
However, it said "license has not been transferred to this source". Subsequently, when we check the folder, we find the following file:
transfer.log ; uav._eg ; uav._ey ; uav._st.
Also, our horizon 3.4 didn't have the license now, and when we tried to transfer the license back to horizon 3.4,
it said "registration file not found (receiving site must register first)".
Since we had horizon 3.4 and horizon beta 3.7 installed in the same computer, we tought that could be the problem, so we decided to uninstall horizon 3.4. but accidentally uninstall horizon beta 3.7 too. And now, we can't even use the demo license.
Anyone ever encountered this problem and have solution or anyidea?

Hello Siti,
Horizon 3.4 and 3.7 are about 7 years apart and the Crypkey licensing subsystem has been updated a few times between versions.
Having both versions installed can cause licensing problems since they use different versions of Crypkey.
So that would explain why the transfer didn't work. Sadly the Crypkey transfer system also doesn't allow you to put a key back into the source version once it is transferred to a USB stick.
The Demo key can only be used once per computer so it won't work anymore if it has been used with any version of Horizon already.
We don't have any specific limit on standard Horizon licenses though, so feel free to send your Site key from Horizon 3.7 (after making sure 3.4 is uninstalled) to license@micropilot.com and we can send you a new License key. That will give you a new permanent license for Horizon 3.7.
If you experience an issue with the license system on Horizon 3.7, run the installer again and choose the the Repair option. It is possible that Crypkey didn't update to the latest version since the older version from Horizon 3.4 was already installed so that should update it if needed.
Thank you for your answer, we already ask for a new license and it worked.
