Tutorial: How to set up a soft/hard geofence using an .ini file

Starting in Horizon 3.7.965.0 there is a new way for setting/using a geofence to/from an .ini file instead of using the VRS editor and the geofence VRS fields. This new method allows the user to use a graphical interface to set, check and modify the geofence on the map. Follow the instructions below to set and use a new geofence using an .ini file.
Make sure "Set geofence using geofence .ini file" option is chosen under the General tap in Horizon settings.
Reminder: This setting is UAV specific. You need to change it for each UAV separately.

For Online maps:
In Horizon, go to Maps and click on "Map Selector...". The Horizon Map Selector plugin will show up. Click on the "Set Origin..." drop down list and choose the UAV number you want to set a geofence .ini for. Click on the "Modify Geofence" button to set the number of geofence pins and their distances from the GCS. You can also drag each pin using your mouse to modify the shape of the geofence. When you are done, click on "Save and Exit" and save the geofence .ini file. Click on "Save" and close the Horizon Map Selector plugin.

For Offline maps:
In Horizon, go to Maps and click on "Map Selector...". The Horizon Map Selector plugin will show up. Click on "Set Origin (offline mode)...". Select the desired UAV and click on "Modify Geofence". Design your geofence and click on "Save Geofence" when you are satisfied with your geofence in order to save it as an .ini file. Click on "Save" and close Horizon Map Selector plugin.

Start your flight or simulation in Horizon. The geofence will appear a couple of seconds after clicking on "Connect" or "Simulate". Double check your geofence and takeoff!
Note: Each geofence .ini file is set specifically for the UAV that was chosen from the drop down list in the Map Selector plugin. If UAV 1 was chosen and a geofence was designed for it, the same geofence is NOT set for the other UAVs.
